According to the poll, 72% used AI-generated technology to compose a cover letter, while 51% wrote their resume with it.

Perhaps even more impressive is that a whopping 69% of these individuals reported a higher response rate from companies after using ChatGPT.

The chatbot technology from San Francisco-based OpenAI appeared to be particularly effective at grabbing employers’ attention: 78% of respondents who took advantage of this service reported getting an interview and 59% were eventually hired for the job they applied for.

According to Hiten Sheth, director of the HR practice of research firm Gartner, an increasing number of job seekers are relying on AI-powered external platforms to construct their resumes.

According to survey results, only 11% of those surveyed believed they had been denied a job due to their utilization of ChatGPT. The spokesperson said that the narrative that using ChatGPT is “cheating” or dishonorable is not entirely accurate.
